Comserv is a local business with experience in providing responsive repairs and maintenance solutions to local authorities and housing associations. Formed as a joint venture from two successful local companies in 2004, Comserv has continued to grow through the provision of excellent customer service, high quality delivery and an unrivalled focus on customer care through Systems Thinking methodology.
Delivered through a local, experienced and skilled team of over 150 Operatives Comserv now carry out responsive repairs, planned works and property improvements to over 8,000 Local Authority properties. The experienced Call Centre manages over 1500 calls per day.
Using a diverse team of skilled Operatives, Comserv currently undertake around 400 visits to customer homes each day carrying out repairs, void works, disabled facilities, and planned maintenance works.
Comserv Operatives are empowered to diagnose the issue when arriving on site and determine the length of time the repair will take. Operatives will work to the Client's scope of service and only undertake the "value work" i.e. the work that needs to be completed. Operatives are supported by their own intelligent van stock and if the product is not on their van, our own in-house materials team will deliver it straight away allowing the Operative to continue to carry on with the work.
Comserv provide responsive repairs services in three key areas:
- Electrical inspections and installations including: Domestic and commercial electrical installations, fault finding, installation condition reports; and door entry.
- Responsive repairs including: plumbing and drainage; carpentry and joinery; glaziers; painting and decorating; roofing, bricklaying, ground working; electrical; and disability works.
- Voids management including: repairs; inspections; and disability works.
